Processing of personal data

Gacon processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself. The data we collect and process in relation to agreements are: your name, position, (business) telephone numbers and (business) e-mail addresses.

• If you are a (potential) customer of ours, we use your data to send you an offer, to determine which specifications or wishes a certain item or service should meet, to deliver goods or perform work for you, to invoice you and to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about the execution aspects of the agreement.
• If you are a (potential) supplier or other contractor, your personal data are also necessary for the conclusion and execution of the agreement. In the case of procurement, this is necessary to let you know what specifications or requirements a particular item or service should meet as far as we are concerned, to be able to send you a request for a quotation or place an order with you, to be able to pay your invoices and to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about other aspects of the agreement.

You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, if you do not provide us with any or sufficient personal data, we may not be able to carry out the aforementioned activities.

Retention period

The data is kept to fulfil the purposes described. We adhere to the legal retention period if it is in force.

Provision of personal data to third parties

Gacon only and exclusively provides third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

Gacon uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone the first time you visit this website. View, modify or delete data

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold on you in a computer file to you or another organisation named by you.

You can send a request to access, correct, delete, transfer your personal data or request the revocation of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@gacon.nl.

To ensure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

How we secure personal data

Gacon takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to counter abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of abuse, please contact our customer service or via info@gacon.nl.
