Epoxy screed
Discover Gacon's super sleek, flexible and tough epoxy cast floors, ideal for both business and home use.
A polyurethane cement-based floor finish - such as UCRETE, Crete PU or PurCem - offers exceptional resistance to aggressive chemicals, extreme mechanical resistance and reliable temperature change resistance. Polyurethane cement floors, for example, are highly resistant to thermal shock from steam cleaning.
This floor finish is suitable for normal to heavy loading on concrete and cement- or gypsum-based substrates in e.g. storage and logistics areas, production areas, workshops, garages, loading bays and technical areas. Infill systems are recommended for wet process areas, e.g. in the beverage and food industry.
Epoxy cast floors are available in a number of standard colours in which some discolouration and colour deviation may occur under the influence of direct sunlight. This discolouration does not affect the functionality and performance of the coating.
The high initial gloss reduces to an even gloss after the floor is used. If desired, a self-shining/matt effect can be achieved immediately after curing by special surface treatment.
