How does Gacon proceed?
Several methods are possible in concrete renovation. After a thorough analysis of the cause of the weakness in concrete structures, we may carry out manual repairs. However, we more often use methods such as sprayed concrete, carbon reinforcement, cathodic protection, and injecting objects.
With sprayed concrete we apply concrete in layers to the surface to be repaired, ensuring optimum adhesion and compaction.
At carbon reinforcement thin carbon fibres are placed on the damaged object with epoxy glue.
Cathodic protection is a technique to prevent corrosion of rebar by applying an electric current to the concrete. Concrete injection is a common solution to repair small cracks.
